Red face New to goats

Im looking at picking up an 06 gto tomorrow if all goes well. From what I can tell it has a full 3inch exhaust. Its and A4. Ive owned a 99, and 01 trans am and i know the problems that comes with them like headlights, rearend really weak, ect....i guess im asking is what kind of problems are common on these types of cars. Ive seen half shafts? and driveshafts? but only if you get over a certain hp. Thxs guys info would be great!!!

Check the back seats by the shoulder area for rips.

People don't condition the leather so they dry out in the heat.

It happens.

Yeah, I picked up mine last august. Didn't think to look over the seats I was so excited about finding one that the paint was not chipping, the car hadn't been modded etc.. Finally three weeks later I was cleaning / conditioning the leather seats and I noticed the driver seat tore, in that exact spot.. so lame

The worst issue I had with my seats was that the dealer tried to cover the rip with glue and spray paint

So ive searched and search and searched. Are the rear ends junk on an a4 with just exhaust? Ive seen ppl say that its alot stronger then a fbody 10bolt. Thxs. And after the suspension problems i hope i still made a good choice in car lol.

Fbody like camaros and firebirds have the same rear ends as s10 trucks, very little rear ends that can not take torque lol.

I just bought an 04 and love it. Rides way better than my old z28. Mine will wheelhop if you get on it hard enough for moderate wheel spin but horrible. If your wanting to show off and spin the tires just give it enough gas and it will spin them as long as you want. Mods are expensive though

and now the mods begin. lol. No one can buy one of these and leave it alone. Enjoy it, I love mine. Only other problem I didnt see listed is they eat tires. Fronts due to camber rears due to HP. Just make sure you get regular alignments and you'll be alright.
