Squeaky brakes, caliper repair kit install?
So my brakes are squeaking pretty bad on the front left. The rotors and pads are pretty new and still look good. The guy at the brake place suggested new pads because those looked a little glossed over (he thought from overheating possibly) along with turning the rotors and having having them install caliper kits (mainly new seals/rubber)
I was just wondering if this was a pretty easy job or what? They didn't have any of the kits on hand but they did sand down the pads a bit and lubricated everything up along with the slide pins/bolts. 2 blocks later it was squeaking again.

Brakes
I would hop online and buy some upgraded pads and rotors. I had stock rotors with EBC reds on the front no squeek still warped the rotors and then I went DBA with Hawk performance pads no warp slight squeek but really short 60-0 time. The factory brakes are alright but it is a really nice upgrade to have vastly increased stopping distance.
