Default PSI for drag strip

I will be going to the strip next month on my new set up, right now I am running nittos nt05's drag radials, what is a good psi I should set them at for good grip?

Haven't used those myself, however with Mickey Thompson it took a bit of trial and error.

LS1 running 245/40/18 M/T's need to be dropped down to 15psi to get traction.
265/40/18's with same engine worked all the way up to 26psi.

Changed to LS3 and the ideal number is 21.5psi.

These are all with high stalled auto.

I'd start around 22psi and go from there. It usually takes me a few runs at each tire pressure to figure out where to put my baseline pressure. Then adjust according to track conditions for each time.

Yeah the conditions are for sure I have to check for, hot cold sunny? you know, thanks man. I will be testing and tuning and then when I am about to race I should have the right PSI.

470 at the crank? Did you have your engine put together by a shop?

I'd say 17-18 will be the sweet spot
