Default Need Advice For Next Round Of Engine Mods....

Well car is finally in the repair stages....so now I want to think about some Spring engine performance mods...

Current Mods:
K&N FIPK
Kooks 1 7/8" Headers And Catless Midpipes
SLP Loudmouth 2 Exhaust
HPTuners Software
Monster Stage 3 Clutch Kit/Flywheel/Tick Master
Short Throw Shifter
Texas Speed TorquerV3 Cam
Texas Speed Stage 2.5 CNC Ported LS6 Heads
Ported LS6 Oil Pump, LS7 Lifters

With that setup car put down 423whp on pump....

I'm wondering what mods you guys can recommend next for me...really want to get around 475whp..

I've heard conflicting stories...but here is what I was kind of thinking...although I'm looking for advice from people who were in my shoes in the past.

-Larger Throttle Body (Which one should I run????)
-Larger MAF (Which one????)
-Svedespeed Intake
-Larger Injectors (What size????)
-Larger Fuel Pump (Which one???)

I'm also thinking of running a 75-100hp plate system this year....so keep that in mind with the mods above so they can work together and have enough fuel.

I'd obviously get a new tune with any of these mods...feel free to add suggestions or tell me which/where I should source the above mods...

Thanks guys!

Ditch the K&N for a Svede or Vararam.
Time for an intake, FAST 102 with a NW 102 TB, or find a used FAST 90/92. Have either intake ported.
Gears, Gears, Gears!!! They won't add HP per se, but you will pick up a few tenths in the quarter mile and they make your GTO way more fun to drive.
I'd increase the capacity of my injectors too, a 46 should be fine.

Thanks! I like your mod list....you ever run it in 1/4?

Yeah, I am not much of a strip guy, but I ran an 11.59 a few years ago on street tires. My mods were a bit different than they are now, so I am sure I'd be faster at this point. I'd need drag radials to make it worth while though.

What year is the car? Why are you wanting a larger MAF? Keep in mind that a bigger MAF with the larger housing may not work with an off-the-shelf CAI/OTRCAI.

You know the 92 is back in production, right? Thus, you can now get them new.

The car is a 2004....I was told a larger MAF and TB would give me a nice increase...I was going to get a Svedespeed and would make sure it matches the MAF I get....

I would say a FAST 102 with some good injectors should be your next investment.

If you want to do it cheap then get LS2 rails and injectors, if you want something that will support pretty much any future mods get some 725cc Injector Dynamics. They are the best injectors on the market and 725cc on 8 cylinders will support about 900 flywheel hp

Cost isn't the ultimate factor...but I don't need overkill either so that's why I'm looking for advice. From what I heard the LS2 injectors were only like 32 lb/hr injectors...lots of people say I should be at least at 36 lb/hr...I was leaning towards just ordering the complete Fast 102 setup with the 102mm manifold/102 mm Nick Williams TB, and the Fast Fuel Rail kit....then I'd prolly run either FAST, FIC, or RaceTronix 36-37 lb injectors....I get GREAT prices on FIC so that's why I was leaning that way if they are ok.
