Default BC Coil Overs

Has anyone ever installed BC coil overs on a GTO? I am installing a set on an '05 GTO for a customer that bought them used so I dont have any instructions. When installing them, the upper strut mount nut bottoms out on the nut that holds the spring on. I cant figure out why it is doing so. I is there something that I am missing that wasnt dropped off with the kit? This is what I have as far as the upper mount

to get a better idea of how to install them, you can do what I did and look up how to install pedders on a GTO on youtube... Its the same setup really, and they do a parts inventory I believe... I'll go look at mine when I get a chance to make sure you have everything...

I watched the pedders video but all they said was not to worry about tightening the nut and to let the car do the work as far as compressing the spring. I'll have to watch it again

What they mean by that is just getting the nut started and putting everything else in place, then dropping the car down and with all the weight it will make it easier to tighten the nut up top if you don't have air tools... I had air tools when I did mine so that step wasn't nessesary for me...

Something doesn't look right.

You do have a washer below the mount as well as above, correct?

Poly bushing should be fine. I wouldn't describe the poly as any smaller than the stock rubber bushing.

Can you post a higher resolution version of the first picture? That 177x131 pixel image is impossible to make anything out on.
