Default Starter Solenoid 05 GTO

I recently bought a 05 GTO with 12,000 miles on the engine. It has AFR heads and an unknown spec cam. The car runs great, makes good power and is tuned but the rocker arms are a bit loud to my liking.

I am going to pull the valve cover and take a look at the rocker arm adjustment. I am trying to find the starter solenoid so i can connect my bump switch to readjust all the rocker arms.

Is the solenoid located on the starter?

With my Ford Mustang, the solenoid was located in the inner fender.

I don't want to turn the engine over via balancer bolt.

thanks

Odds are you don't have adjustable rocker arms.

I know the rocker arms are not adjustable from the factory. I just want to check the preload and also the pushrod length. Making sure that the pushrod is not too long or short to achieve the 22ft lbs torque on the bolts with the correct preload. The motor make a loud clack sound when first starting in the morning. Once the engine is warmed up, the valvetrain noise is barely noticeable. The car drives and performs fine, just trying to fine tune the valvetrain.
