Default 403 Project.

Picked this up December 2013 and it's almost finished for the most part.
I sold my built and supercharged mustang and picked up the gto for it's replacement. I knew I wanted a gto and a 403. Just so happened I found a 05 IBM 6spd with a knock in Oklahoma on craigslist. Perfect for what I wanted and a color I wanted as well. Called the ad and went to pick it up the next morning. Car looked good so I loaded it up and headed back to texas.

Mods already on the car:
Pacesetter LT catless mids
Magnaflow mid pipe
Magnaflow cat back
K&n hot box

Pulled the motor a week after I got it home.

Here is what I have done so far:

403 kit.
-Callie's crank
-Callie's h beam rods
-wiesco pistons
Ls7 lifters
Pacesetter long tubes (came with the car)
New lifter trays, plugs, seals, dowels, etc
Ls9 head gaskets
Ported ls3 heads
Ported ls3 intake manifold
Ls2 throttle body.
Svede intake (used)
Ls3 rocker arms with trunion upgrade
Ls3 rocker stands/pedastals.
244/248 cam
Gm oil pump
Gm timing set
Slp UDP (used)
Gforce drive shaft
Monster level 4
Mgw-p
Mickey thompson et streets
Areomotive 325 pump
Brian tooley valve springs

Misc:
DIY gauge pod for wideband
Full
Bohnman led conversion and aux mod
Switched out the blue seats for a black set.
Replaced the broken front grille and paint the upper/lower grilles gloss black
06 tails
5k hids

Need to be ordered:
Spin tech mufflers to be welded into the magnaflow cat back.
ID1000's
Push rods
Battery
Alternator bracket

I'd suggest something better than the LS7 lifters which is the factory replacement for ALL lsx engines now.

Brian tooley makes some SLR slow leak down rate lifters that are a much better unit than the LS7 for only a little bit more. It's worth the upgrade on a far from stock engine. Or get a set of lunati link bars.

Nice car.

It looks as if the front seats are blue and the back seats black, is that right?

After hearing all the horror stories on lunanti lifters, I'll stay far away from them.
No, I swapped the blue out for black seats.

Baileys performance is finishing up the work. They should have the heads assembled and motors dropped in this coming week.

I had to order a second cat back since my magnaflow is back at my parents house. Ordered spintech x pipe with super pro streets 3" tips from Maryland for 574.00.

I will be in the Tylerish are ina. Few months. Going to east texas muscle car for a mini tub.
