engine fires off a couple of times then shuts down ok guys I need some help I have a 2004 gto that the engine was taken out some time ago and now going back together and it wont stay running now.it will fire up and sound like it about to idle and then just shuts off. also shuts off as soon as I touch the gas pedal. I have done all the obvious stuff like new gas checked fuel pressure. checked compression stuff like that. I thought it was maybe my key gone bad or something but I turned off my vats and still having the same issue. I also have checked my wiring harness behind glove box and it is fine. anyone have any suggestions would be great thanks.
question if I turn my vats off will that rule out my key?
