front struts, where are you buying your GTO's front struts?
Alright I just bought a low milage 2006 GTO and the front end bounces more than a 1970's caddy with original suspension, I looked at struts online at napa, for $91 a piece but was just wondering where else people are getting their replacements from? And yes I did a search I couldnt find anything that said what I was looking for..

Pedders is still around in AUS, their US division is shut down and being sued by the parent division I believe. Once they get the law suit figured out, hopefully some of their products make it back this way as competition is always good for our limited market!

Who's their parent division and why are they getting sued by them? Just curious

I've used Andy at Kollar Racing (Lovells) for suspension and he has good products. I personally used Koni Yellows for my dampers

Trust me. The coilovers are by far the best mod you can do for a GTO. They really transform the car. Be sure to get them from a vendor that also sells the strut top bushings.

I don't know what to do here, I absolutely NEED front suspension, my struts are so shot I can't stand the bouncing, and the LOVELLS struts aren't going to be available til APRIL! I understand they come from Australia but I absoultely cannot wait that long. its going to destroy the front end of my car. I'm not made of money here guy's and I'm not road racing this car its a daily driver, $800-$2,300 for coilovers? yeah right! I just want suspension that is quality and won't crap out in 30k miles. an occasional drag strip run is all I'll be doing, so NO OTHER vendor has struts in stock for these cars?

I have enough money to buy rear springs lovely struts and poly bushings which is around 900 bucks. I guess I can try and hold out til April because I really don't want to cheap out and get crappy struts. I'm just in fear of the condition of my front suspension.

Struts
Get Sachs struts from ZF Services, in IL.
030 332 and 030 333. Comes with hd sway bar links. Does not come with top bearings. I cleaned and regreased my existing bearings.
Very good quality, made in AUS

But hey, your post helped very much. Its apparent you don't know the story from the other place. Maybe you do and you're just part of the clicky click over there.

You can get Monroe struts from amazon. Most of the OEM replacement struts are the same, with little variation.
I think the Lovells struts are the best performing basic strut you can get for these cars.
I went the coil-over route and I half regret it everyday. Most roads, nearly all highways are fine, but everyday I come across at least one pothole or speed bump that makes me think a normal strut/spring set-up would have been much more comfortable. But I daily my GTO, if you don't daily it I think the Coil Overs would be a fine route.
