New OTR intake for GTOs on the Market
Jeffrey Bohn is an individual who offers all sorts of custom lighting solutions for late model GTOs. He also created the brackets to run cts-v brake calipers on our cars. He recently paired up with Xair performance to distribute another OTR intake simular to the one Svede from West Coast used to make. He has it advertised at 384$ on his site.
I recently advertised selling a one off Duspeed intake that is maf compatible which I will now sell for 400$. It works the same as the Xair intake but is a better looking intake under the hood it justifies the the 16$ price difference.
If you are looking to maximize performance OTR style intakes like Duspeed and Xair are the way to go.
WARNING: beware Svede. Spencer has a record for not fulfilling his orders.

Bohnman has it listed for 384.00 on his website and has a $20 discount. Idk the rules for your site yet so I'm not posting hyperlinks. New svedes are pretty much non existent. I had to purchase second hand. But my svede has a difference I can feel between it and my lingenfelter.

Between these and the svedes? Cant remember exactly I think it was 400-450 for a new Svede. I actually ordered a svede long time ago just never got it. The Xair pretty much is the same or very simular to the old svede intake.
Performance wise; OTR is just the best. On my gto i was able to reach
416/411 on a dynojet with the Duspeed. Stock cam, fast 102/102 combo, UDP, full exhaust. Tuning it was cumbersome but the difference from the traditional "cold air" intakes was very noticeable coming from a K&N

im curious if there is a benefit to running this opposed to a one that runs the same path as the stock one?
I like the look of a OTR intake, but Im having a hard time justifying the $100 price difference and I still have to cut up my radiator shroud.

Besides taking in air from in front of the radiator where it is cooler air also has a straighter shot to enter the TB. The 90* bend on "in-the-bay" intakes impede flow. The Vararam unfortunately has such a short run from where it enters past the filter that the air is more turbulent and some cars, especially with a cam, have trouble with MAF tuning.
