Default kinda sorta nervous...

I took my car in to get detailed right before I stored it back in November. I told the place I took it to that I wanted no acidic material put on my chrome rims. They used a degreasing product called red hot. I started reading on degreasers for chrome rims and while most said the rims should be fine, some people said absolutely do not use it. They also said most materials in the degreaser are no stronger than a chrome cleaning product itself. I haven't taken a real good look yet... kind of afraid to. Has anyone used degreaser on chrome before and do you think I am in for an unwanted surprise. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas.

Not all chemicals will have a acid make-up. You will have to check for yourself. If you have damage, you will have an idea of who to hold responsible.
