In Australia, both Kings and Pedders are a cheap option.

Either Lovells or my personal preference Eibach.

Car pictured is friends HSV GTO fitted with Koni shocks and Eibach springs.

I had a terrible experience with eibach on this car. There is actually a thread about. I'm not sure why I put pedders I actually meant lovells

King spring has the most options. Whether ride height or spring rate, they are the best choice from my experience. Thry even make custom springs and I have a custom set on the front dms coilovers I have.

Plenty have had eibach issues, few like them.

Only a few part numbers were carried by us vendors. I don't know who carries or stocks these days. I got mine from AU and picked and chose what I was after. The 45hd and 46hd for the rear was pretty common and heavier than peddlers. They ride well with good shocks. They are variable rate iirc. The hhd was the race version and heavier rate to help eliminate all the squat in the back.

For the money, the BC kit is hard to beat, except for the fact the rear springs leave some to be desired. The kw and dms coilovers kits are the kits to have imo. The adjustability in a coilovers kit can be priceless to the right individual.

I thought about coil overs quite a bit but don't really want to make that jump since it's a daily. Just want a nice shock and some good lowering springs and just keep it simple. I've always heard great thinks about Koni's so I figure I'll give them a shot.

If ridetech offered something for the GTO I'd have bought that for sure.

Daily is fine on coilovers. Mine was a daily when I put mine in. Koni is ok, but no contest against a coilover tuned correctly. The valving in our koni application was kinda odd from what I remember. Maybe someone who runs them can chime in. Cutting the strut up front isn't fun either.

I have Koni's and Pedders Springs on my '06. Not sure what height the springs are, they were already on the car when I bought it. Previous owner just said "drag springs"

I like the combo, it rides nice on the street and works pretty well at the track.

There's that one dude on ls1gto who does them the cheapest. He does the c.f. on there. I don't recommend doing any business with the guy you mention. The guy that does the lovell stuff has a good reputation and may carry them too iirc.

Default BCRacing

Ill be going with BCRacings ER series. I test drove a 06 Goat with them and took some serious corners. Lowered 1" looks nice too. After researching they are hands down my pick. just my 2 cents
