Hi, I'm in the process of swapping a 2004 GTO engine into my '69 chevy. One of the things that I'd like to do is install a chrome alternator, equivalent to the old one (2 wire, 140+ amps). As viewed from the back the mounting holes on the original are at 2 & 6 with the plug in the 10:30 position. I must have looked at over 1000+ web pages and cannot find any chrome alternator with the mounting holes at 2 & 6! Does anyone know of a source that has one of these?

I know this is a Corvette part but it's for a ls1. So it may fit for you depending pulley routing.

Alternative is to remove the covers and send them off to get chromed or polished.
