Default Pinion nut for Motive 3.90's?

Hey everyone,

I'm getting down to the last parts I need to build my rear. I have Motive 3.90 gears, a new 28 spline TruTrac, new bearings/seals all the way throughout, a Harrop cover and GForce shafts and hardware. I'm stumped on where to find a pinion nut. I bought what I thought was the right one from Yukon Gear, but part number YSPPN-009 proved to be wrong even though it was advertised to work with the GTO's. It's too small to fit onto the end of the pinion threads on my new gears.

The car goes in on the 18th for the new rear at a local garage but I want to have the parts assembled myself before the car even touches the garage. Any recommendations? I already tried GForce, and they're all out of stock and GM doesn't list it as an available part anymore

Both that are specifically listed for the '05-'06 GTO are the same as the incorrect one I have, 3/4 X 16 thread for a series of Dana stuff and the GM 7 3/4 series..

LOL, I have a silver colored one also. Quality of a pinion nut----hahahahhahahaaaa!
Do you not have anything else to do. Maybe you could sell him a cryopolishedhandsandedepoxyprimeredclearcoated one for 200 bucks.

Why is it that you are in here trying to sell goods and services without being a sponsor. I would have thought the moderators would have caught on to you a long time ago. I offered to give this guy a nut for free and send it to him. I don't need your poor quality comments!!!!!!!!

I don't want to get involved in anything here, but here is the part number and it is available but you will need to call the dealer or go on eBay. GM part # 92143290

I made an objective comment and didn't offer to sell anything in that post. The comment was of great quality, you were offering the fellow member a turd of a part for free. The correct nut is a ONE TIME USE DESIGN.

I have a used oem nut that I'd gladly throw in an envelope for a fellow owner if that was needed. Take a breath, kid. Keep this friendly and objective, not personal like you're making it.

If the OEM nut is a one time use nut, why would you send him a used one??? And how about offering to send the part the first time instead of your shitty quality comment. This is not EVEN the first crappy comment you have made about everyone elses parts. And I am not even close to being a kid. I guess that comment about a "turd of a part" is your attempt at being what----------------???????

You're just spinning your wheels at this point. Since you're not a kid, grow up.

You won't get anything out if this conversation, but your biased and judgemental comments are without merit.

So, yeah. Here you go wasting a post on this guys thread. When you become an expert and build hundreds of these diffs, give me call. Maybe we can review your half baked comments at that point.

So your turd comment was WITH merit???
I'm tired of all your negative comments over the years. You don't know anything more than anyone else that sets these diffs. Expert!!! Crap! You got kicked off LS1GTO because of your constant crappy comments. I just get sick of listening to guys like you. IT'S A FRIGGIN NUT---what's wrong with you?
