Default 05 gto hood

So the gto i bought has a sniper jr intake on it. I need a new hood I was going to get a vnf 4.5 cowl hood but heard about fit issues. Any other ideas? I have an email into glasstek but no response yet. The stock one the previous owner just cut out the inner skin. It is also very damaged, trashed. I would like pic and ordering info plz, also any fitment issues straight outta the box. I am looking for something I can bolt up myself and drive with until I get to a body shop.

I have never seen 4 hood pins on any GTO hood... I would use the factory hinges and latch for security. Add 2 front hood pins if you want, but very high quality pieces. Look at what happened with low cost pins: http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=833585

The studs are like 7/16 big studs. The pins are just standard pins. I want to remove the hinges because the 4" cowl does not allow the hood to open very far and I am a tall big dude. I am thinking about drilling into where the base of the hinges are and seeing if i can do something there.

yes...what this guy said^^^^.lol. I've got about 8 hrs in a roof skin replacement because of cheap hood pins. A factory hood and latch are going back in place of the Pos fiberglass /hood pin setup.
