Yes you will loose the tune... I believe that I told you that HPTuners is needed to copy the tune in an earlier post.

I have purchased the ac delco tis to web subscription $40 for 1 vehicle purchased the mongoose pro gm2 dongle and then have tried the SPS programming ECM controller followed all the prompts
and have received an SPS E 2701 No authorization to program the selected software. IT is not allowing me to proceed further , can any one help ?

Thanks for your help Jontall . I am not using the tech 2 , I'm using a Drew tech GM mongoose pro 2 cable to vehicle input and connected to pc . I am in the ac delco SPS programming section communicating on line SPS pulls Vin , I change vin on second hand unit to my original vin
follow all the requests then comes to auto or manual , press auto then continue and wait and come up on screen with E2701 No authorization to program the selected software .

Are you running all three pumps on one relay? How many amps is the relay rated for? How do you have it wired?

I am running two pumps off one relay 30-40 amps and the third pump has 1 relay 30-40 amps I have had it wired this way for about 4 years

Any MIL? Sounds to me like a short or overload in the pcm fuel pump trigger wire, or a bad ground.
