Default Anyone Replace A BTSI Solenoid Recently?..

The BTSI solenoid on my 04 gave up the ghost yesterday and wouldn't let the car shift out of park. After some searching and dealer calls, as one might guess, they don't make the part anymore (as usual for the GTO). 92145681 is what the parts dept told me it was. Anyone have, know where to get, or rebuilt one? I figured I'd at least ask and try to fix it first before I just bypass it for good. Thank you.

Well, I bypassed it for now, still in for repair/replacement info. Thanks.

Unfortunately, your best bet is going to be checking the Facebook groups for a partout or making a different solenoid work if you want to retain it.

I would look for any car that had a 4L60/4L65 in it, it SHOULD work...

That's a negative Ghost Rider, the solenoid is the blue one under the little tray that sits under the radio and it fits in a slot there. Whereas something like an Fbody uses a cable that runs up to the shifter along the tunnel. I appreciate the idea though.

Yeah, I've already been perusing the salvage stuff waiting for a shifter assembly and associated parts to pop up.
