Default HELP !!! Front Strut Parts Unavailable

Pertains to the front struts on a 2004 GTO.

The metal spring seat that holds the top of the coil spring (includes the rubber spring pad) to the strut rotted away. GM no longer carries the part. I checked Moog and Monroe, no luck. I can't drive it because the top of the spring will rest on the body (inside upper fender).

Anyone no of a similar replacement or aftermarket part ? Maybe someone knows of a car being parted out ?...should i drive it into a tree ?

I bought new struts, strut mounts bump stops and boots. Looks like i'm SOL ....Any help is greatly appreciated.

If they don't have what you need I pulled the fronts off for a coilover install and I removed the whole strut assembly laying in the garage.

Thanks for the offer, but GTOG8TA.com had new ones. The car is back on the road again.
