05 K&N Intake Fit On 04 GTO
 

I found a cheap K&N CAI for an 05 GTO. I was wondering if it will fit a 2004 GTO with or without and modifying?

The LS1 throttle body is a smaller diameter than the LS2 throttle body. The PCV fresh air inlet is on the intake tube on the 05/06, so that nipple will need to be capped.

Nothing insurmountable.

The act of taking a piss before driving your car will give a bigger performance gain than never offered. by by k&N. Just read up on real performance mods.

I didn't want an OTR, the cheap ones look cheesy and the expensive ones are expensive.

K&N increased my MPG, didn't notice anything on the performance side. It'll pay for itself soon

Cut the shroud to fir the OTR and it wont look bad at all as for cost you can find them all the time on GTO buy sell and trade on Facebook for decent prices way better than the hot air intake KN makes.
