Default Rear driver side rubs

Been a while since I've posted. I put my 18's on prior to suspension mods and the driver side rubs on hard bumps and akward transitions during slow right turns. Only the driver side does this and not the passenger. I kind of ignored it (I don't drive far to work have a 4-5 minute commute) until I got my coilovers on last year. Thinking it was related to shitty springs and shocks I figured once I got my coilovers (Maverick man) dialed in I would be good. Problem still persists, I initially thought no biggy I'll just roll the fenders but I keep putting that off since it's just the one side. I also thought maybe it was my fat *** but when I have passengers that side doesn't do it either.

I've got a poly pushing kit I've yet to install, but I wanted to see if maybe I was missing something? For reference I'm not any lower than I was with the saggy or springs.

Probably needs a cradle alignment. Measure the distance from the outer edge of the left tire to the lip of the fender, and compare to the right tire. They should be the same distance. If not, needs alignment.

Ah thanks, that would make sense. Is that something most alignment shops could do or would I need to call around ?

The rear cradle alignment tool is somewhat of a rare specialty tool. There are others that have made comment "you can get is close using a measuring tape" etc. I think Andy Koller at Koller Racing and Thomas at Hendrix Engineering use to loan one out with purchase.

Well good call, driver side is about 3/8" further out then passenger. I have a pair of poly cradle bushings that I've been setting on......guess it's about that time

Cradle bushings are fun. Buy the reusable bolts from Wretched instead of the TTY bolts makes life easier down the road.

Thanks for the supplier on the bolts!

Anyone got a GM number for that alignment tool?

Phil aka 06 blue devil on ls1gto has a set of front and rear alignment tools. He is also a master mechanic. Phil is located in Athens, Al area. Maybe contact him and pay him a visit.
