Dyno'd the Goat last night
Made 319hp/309tq. Only mod is a LPE CAI. I was told by the dyno operator that the oddly high number was from my car being colder than normal. I drove to the shop but hung out for about an hour before signing up. The shop conditions were around 85 degrees and high humidity. I've read about bogus dyno numbers but mostly low(operator error) numbers, not high ones. Anyone have a similar experience?

These cars are very sensitive to inlet air temp. We dynoed several and monitored advance settings. The PCM would start pulling advance as low as 80 degrees. It's even worse on the LS2 due to the high compression. As for your numbers, check to see if they are SAE corrected, that helps to even out things like altitude and air density.

in drag racing quicker ,not faster ,is what counts, doesnt matter if the other guy traps 10mph faster so long as you get to those stripes first.
autos are almost always quicker than manuals at the drags.
