cann't use "chips" anymore...every OBD2 work off reflashing the computer. Handheld programers are one way to retune the fuel and spark of a car. The only other option besides handhelds are computer programs that are much more complicated (but a lot more options).
Or you can send your EMC out to a company like SLP and have them retune it. When you do this you have to tell them what you have done to the car inorder to get the most out of the tune...if you do any futuer mods you will have to have the EMC tuned again.

My bad, for the use of chips it is a habit. But I realize that the handheld programers are able to be upgraded buy downloading programing off your computer. I guess my question is are the predators noteworthy programers or should i wait for some other programer to come out with the 06 tune?
Also today at the performance shop they said they would give me a special on the predator and a Dyno run before and after the programer. They would also install the programming and show me how to do it. They say they can change many things like the temp the fan comes on and trac-control.
Another? when they say they have the tune does that mean that they have the tune for both stock and bolt on mods?

If you do not plan to do a whole lot of big mods (heads/cam, FI) then I would go with the pred...I would look into the deal with the shop..sounds pretty good. I am ordering mine from T-Bryne tomarrow...so I can tune when I get back from training... If you can wait a week I will tell ya how it goes.

Excellent. What do you think about the SLP underdrive pulley. With 160deg thermostat and water/waterwetter in radiator the heating issues are squelched but what about the charging?
Is it a good mod? Or should i save up for the $550 electric water pump?

Again it depends on how wild you are going to go...If I was going to be at the track a couple times a week instead of a couple times a month I would go with the thermo and electric water pump. The new GTOs are not as hard up for the new thermo if you are mainly daily driving it IMO. The under drive pully is a killer mod, and nerver heard anything bad about it, if you find your alternator needs more spin you can always get an overdrive pully to make up for the loss.

Nope, the overnight shipping is free
A shipment was supposed to have already arrived here but we found that Diablo forgot to send it. They shipped that 3 day air so it will be here in the next few days.

That's ok. I'm married too and know how it can be
We've had quite a few orders orders come in for these. There will probably be some feedback posted by the end of next week.

Feed back is ....So Far So Good!
was waiting for my third run of the day when I decied to load the diablo tune...then we got rained out... On the way home the car felt a lot better...my 2004 was snappy and the '06 was smooth....Now the 2006 feels just as snappy (if not more so) as my '04. Just deleating the TM was wort the price..the fact that I can make changes to the tune myself makes it just that much better.
