Default Camaro wheels on GTO

My dad has an '05 GTO. If possible we want to get a set of drag radials/ rear wheels that we could share for track duty. Would the standard 16x8 camaro 5 stars work on his car? Any suggetsions for wheels or offsets would be greatly appreciated.

they fit. Any 16x8 fbody wheel from a ls1 car should fit. They line up. The lug pattern is like off by less then a 1/2 of a mm or something miniscule like that. A lot of people will tell you because of that you can't run them. However a ton of people have been without any problems.

I've run MT ET Streets on 17x9.5 OE Camaro SS wheels on the GTO with no problems. A 17x11 probably wouldn't fit though.

I have my stock SS 17x9.5's with MT ET streets from my SS and don't use them any more. They have ONE single run on them and still have the little nubbies if you want to buy them, i've been trying to sell them but just haven't gotten a chance to put them on ebay.

Ok i'm guessing those are knockoff C6 Z06 wheels because true Z06 wheels would be huge on the GTO. Needless to say, it looks good. Is it still a 18/19 front rear stagger? What about widths?

I put the c6's on mine 18/19 combo. Check it out. my original pics suck but they look better if you scroll down alittle.

Jason, yes, mine are Z06 replicas for a C5 Corvette. They are 17 x8.5 with 56mm offset in front and 18 x 9.5 in rear with 57mm offset. I run a 7/16 spacer in front with ARP Evo 3 inch studs. All the info on my rims and studs is over on LS1GTO.com...just search on my posts. My name is the same on all forums.
