Default Traded 02ws6 for 04 GTO

Traded My 02WS6, for 04GTO, and could not be happier, both are/were manual cars, Much more driver friendly IMO, And I love that engine bay!!!!! Has anybody had any rear end problems? Just wondering?????

I just did the same thing. I traded off my 2000 Z28 m6 for an 04 GTO m6. The goat may not be as fast as the Z28 was, but I like the hell out of my GTO. It was worth the trade!

The car feels slower than it is.

You need to look over at: http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/index.php

Tons of GTO specific information and I see that your in NC. The Carolina Goat Herd (CGH) is one of the clubs and they have some fun stuff in the South East section going on all the time with the group. Congrats on the Goat.

I did the same thing and don't regret it! The only thing I'm disappointed about is the resale value of the GTO. Besides that i'm very happy with my GTO.

Good luck with it and enjoy!

I seem to be dissapointed with the re-sale of every car I have ever owned. I just drove it 2000 miles round trip, Got 26 mpg, and had a blast doing it. Anyway thanks guys,

If you do end up having rear end whine, the dealer should replace it for free its a known TSB. probably dont have to worry about breaking stuff till over 500hp, except the clutch, they are kinda weak for drag racing.
