Default 05 GTO clutch issue

I have an 05 gto m6 with just over 17k. The problem Iam having is that when Iam runnin her hard the clutch pedal does not seem to give proper feel and or seem to come off the floor. This is an ongoing problem I have flushed the entire clutch system and replaced the fluid seemed to be better, but still a problem exists. The fluid was horrible when I flushed it out. Acts like slave cylinder is hanging up or sticking. Heat does not seem to factor but higher rpms do. If I shift below 5k no problems at all but the second Iam up in higher rpms (ie: limiter ) thats when the problem accours. SO I gues the question Iam asking is instead of putting a factory slave back in the car does anyone make an a good aftermarket slave for the GTO's

Swap to a F-body slave cylinder and while you have the transmission out just swap clutches to an LS7 or Spec 3/+. Sure the stocker should technically go more/last longer but all the work for the trans to come out may as well put insurance back into it...

But yes, sounds like to have the crappy slave issue that pops up here and there.

I have noticed that my car does something like this. When I am running her hard, I have noticed that with every shift the pedal has less and less travel. It has gotten to the point where 3rd to 4th feels like the pedal doesn't hardly move at all. Still shifts fine with no grinding or increased effort, so I assumed it was normal.

My clutch fluid was black as hell, check that. I have heard of this happening to the F-body guys as well.

New slave, flush out the fluid with some top shelf DOT 4 fluid, and an LS7 clutch will get your car back in order.

When you depress the clutch pedal you can see the hydraulic lines balloon in our cars. I am also going to put high pressure hydraulic lines in along with the remote bleeder. The question I have is will the FBody hydraulic line that fits the FBody fitting on the slave also work with the Master Cylinder on the GTO? I honestly believe that replacing the slave is a good idea but I think a higher pressure hose is essential.

At GMParts there is also a Master Cylinder rebuild kit. I am wondering what it consists of and is it necessary?

Where do you see this under the car on the rubber section connecting the hard line to the line going into the Slave?

I wonder why GM put that section in?
