Default Any Ideas? itd be nice.

Just made the Big Leap from Ford to GM Need ideas

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well I finnally went down the right path and Traded my 96 Vortech Blown Cobra in towards my new 04 LS1 Powered Gto , Already got the PC Lt's and mids on , within the next few months im thinking of going with a

Precison Race Components Stg 2.5 5.3L Heads & Cam
PRC 5.3L Stage 2.5 Cylinder Heads - No Exchange, Your Choice of TSP Camshaft, TSP Chromemoly Hardened Pushrods & More!! heads and cam package with the 228R Texas Speed Camshaft. Gotta atleast get back up to the same Hp the Cobra was pushing. What do ya think ? anyone got any other ideas for me without going crazy on the income?

Do the under drive pulley when you do the cam also. Its cheap and might add a couple ponies. Also go with a cai.

should put you over 400 to the wheels, but an underdrive pulley would free up some more power. 04 catbacks are somewhat restrictive at 2 1/4" so that will also free up some power. Should be a solid combination no matter what though, good luck with it

BTW if your a 6 speed id also plan on doing a clutch, and possibly injectors as well. for an automatic id reccomend a stall with that setup as well.

Everything that has been said is more than good advice.

Good luck with your car, I hope you enjoy it.
