Solenoid 3 I recently took my 04 GTO to my mechanic because my transmission light was on. His computer diagnosed that Solenoid 3 was stuck open and recommended that I take it to a transmission shop. After some research through Google, no threads actually pertaining to a GTO (although other LS1 autos), I am at a loss. According to the other threads, the other owners were having shifting trouble between 1 & 2 or 3 & 4 gears. I haven't noticed any trouble with my transmission slipping. One thread said that the light would only come on sporadically. Mine came on last weekend while on a road trip. It stayed on the entire weekend and came back on today when I started my car. Any advice would be very beneficial. Thanks.
