sad state of affairs..

I dare say the whole WORLD is headed that way in recent years.

What's that saying.. as goes california so goes the nation? It seems like whatever they start eventually infects the rest of our country like mold.

People live on emotion instead of rationality these days..

i'd say with this car that emotion is "fear." but it could be this whole "social justice" stuff that's being thrown around by california types.

Well, I wanna see if there's more to this story than just the big bad police state taking personal property and crushing it because they can. As some have stated, I don't think that's legal.

Although, they did confiscate and crush that kid's car in Tokyo Drift for racing so maybe all of this is TOTALLY true...

This was a corporate demo car for Lexus.

It could never be legally registered with the DMV, so it is destined to be crushed (stupid, I know).

Not a street racer's car.

For the record, that was a test mule/no vin, not a seizure... and had to be destroyed at the end of its developmental cycle.

Just saying.

then again.. CA has it's own way of doing things.. it's not part of the same country I live in.

They also pass costly laws that no one can pay for & then dump their debt onto the rest of the Country. Personally, I can't wait for the faults to give out & finally dump that piece of **** state into the Pacific. Hopefully, sooner than later.

I completely understand the hazards of street racing. I also understand that it's foolish for them to think they can stop it from happening. It's ridiculous that they crush your car; they're overstepping boundaries by a great margin in my opinion.
It's just more of a scare and a horribly harsh punishment if you get caught.

it says under the article : This Video went viral, with a GROSSLY MISLABELED video title... This is a LEXUS USA Corporate demo car.

It had to be crushed becuase it could never be legally registered with the DMV.. In the auto industry they are actually called "Crush Cars"... After the time limit expires, the manufacturer has to crush the car.

See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHiDOmFZO3A

From the Original Video Uploader "jrodbigdog" 10 months ago

"It was a test vehicle. They were contractually bound to do so."

So sad how this silly video went viral with a FAKE title..!!!

While this one might not have actually been crushed for street racing, many other cars have been, and that is bullshit. I never street race but this is a total overstep of governmental power. I want to take every politician in this country that doesn't respect the constitution and put them in the crusher.

They can crush my ****...

My 92 suped up and lowered SC400 Lexus is probably worth about 50 bucks today... I was hoping it would go vintage by now but it didn't.... Oh well..

Hey I can still take the stock brand new Camaro's and Mustangs even today riding the juice 0-60!!!!.. How ya like me now for car that is worth about 50 bucks on craigs list today?

Simply put a 10 pound Nitrous heated bottle OPENED UP simply equals SPEED and rude power in the early gears in just about any v8 car!!!!.....

Got traction, larger injectors, a rich fuel mix and a high flowing electric walbro fuel pump you can hit the green illuminated Nitrous button!!!
