Looks like a Fusion nose on a 350Z body/roof with the C7 Vette quarter window thrown in the mix.
The current ones looked great.

And yeah, it's now a Fusion coupe with the word Mustang on it and a retro rear.

Similar to the LSX GTO looking like a modern Pontiac when it was released almost ten years ago.

It can't be...Ford would never take an economy car and change a few body panels and call it a mustang........would they?

Yeah, they've never done that before, now have they.

I guess BMW and Audi aren't creative, either.

BMW and Audi didn't just copy/paste Aston Martins grill on everything they own.

So we're upset that the new car shares some popular visual trends? By that logic shouldn't the Nissan Juke be widely praised here?

I think you're stretching a little far on some of those comparisons Trishield.

The internet seems to hate new car designs, until their a few years old, then they'll hate the next ones and praise the outgoing.

You mean to tell me that practically every BMW currently made doesn't have almost exactly the same front end, and that they haven't done them that way since the beginning of time?

Audi's the same way, too. Pretty much all of them have the same exact front end.

X4 for the new car looking like a 350z, at least the top anyway.

A Mustang should look like a Mustang, an American icon and that conjures a mental image and expectation which the current model nailed perfectly.

The new one is very derivative of several different coupes already on the market. If you took the badging off of people would mistake it for any number of cars.

It is no longer unique looking which is a huge mistake for this car.
