Had a shitty legs day today, felt tight, tired and no motivation. Ended up working through it and getting a decent pump. Just as I was finishing up, a few friends came in to deadlift. Just for the hell of it, I jumped in with them. Ended up pulling 415 lbs, lol. Best deadlift ever after the worst leg workout ever. Not sure how that works, but whatever, I'll take it.

Starting this Monday I am going to try to eat even better, got a lot of good ideas from the FB group. I will also try to drink a gallon of water a day, I have never usually had more than 4 glasses a day....

thats where im debating...continue to push as heavy as i can for that 4-8 rep range.. or cut back on weight and shoot for 12-15 reps everytime.

I'm getting more of the lean look I want and I seem to be growing as well

Week 3 of my cut, really starting to lean out. Strength is suffering a bit, but I'm still putting in the work. Down 7lbs so far. Got a haircut, a shave and a tan too, lol.

Diet is keto
1 gallon + water daily
Ephedrine/caffeine (EC/ECA stack)
45 min fasted AM cardio Mon-Fri
Weight training Sun-Fri, fast pace, lots of volume, little to no rest between sets, failure training.

I'm an all or nothing type person, so my diet is either ridiculously horrible, or ridiculously strict. I probably cut 1000-1500 calories/day from what I eat during the winter. Not sure exactly how much, I've never been one to count. I just eat the same thing every day, and if I lose weight I keep the proportions approximately the same. If I don't, I reduce them a little until I start losing fat at a healthy pace.

I'm probably going to go Keto after 4 more bulking weeks. I had some decent success with it last year and didn't hate myself too much, lol.

Still sitting at 200 lbs after 2 weeks back on my full program, but I do feel like I have leaned out just a bit. Gotta up the calories just a bit more the next few weeks.

OHP: 903, 1003, 1153

Overhead rope tri extensions: 310

That takes dedication. I've heard great things about keto but never tried it myself. I can see the results!

Had a terrible back day yesterday, I went an hour before they closed in hopes of getting a rack...wrong. It was one of those times where everything you need was being used

I'm still learning how much dedication matters even while gaining.

You skip one meal and wake up the next day aching really bad from not having a good recovery because of not enough calories while sleeping.

On the other hand you skip one workout on a surplus and you end up gaining too much fat real quick lol.

Been reasonably consistent the last few months so I'm going to keep pushing it.

Yeah, tell me about it, I spent the first 2 months of the year just eating and hoping to maintain my strength since I couldn't lift. Been back at it 2 weeks now, I've definitely lost a little strength but nothing I shouldn't be able to gain back in the next month or so.

Deads: 275x3, 315x3, 355x3
Squats: 150, 5x10
Face pulls: 3x10
Machine tricep dips: 3x10
Ez bar curls: 3x10
Seated calf raises: 3x12

Well gents...I'mavoiding shoulder surgery for the time being. I'm lifting around the injury I sustained. Most likely will undergo surgery as winter starts to roll in this year. I don't want to be laid up all spring and summer.

Me as of this morning...lost a lot of ground of course, but I'm happy to be training still!
