That's a Comanche, fairly rare trucks as I have discovered in my search for a clean example of one

That Comanche is awesome!

I need to get some pictures of my 78 K10 I'm restoring at the moment. Been in the family since new. It is getting paint at the moment and I'm in the process of rebuilding the LQ4 and 4L80 I bought for it.

Thanks. It was a lot of work. Took me 3 years to build. Started as a wheeler then when I took it apart to fix the floors I got carried away and it spiraled into a full frame off resto.
Some info on it:
92 jeep Comanche 4.0 H.O
Full 96 obdll wiring swap
External slave ax15
7.5" lift with factory metric ton helper springs
Rough country long arms
33x12.50 cooper stts
One ton steering upgrade
Hpd30 with 3:54 and truss welded in billet axle seals
8.25 3:54 rear from a Cherokee
All new floors and unibody
New interior
Full 2001 Cherokee nose and door swap
Fiberglass cowl hood
Bright white paint
Napier fender flares

It's a lot of fun and gets alot of attention I get asked if I cut a Cherokee in half to make it quite a bit. It took 4 parts trucks to make this one happen. I'd like to build a 2wd shortbed ls swap out of one of my parts trucks someday.

Here's some old pictures

I had a Duramax for a while a few years ago and I've always planned to get another. I bought a 01 crew cab with bad head gaskets. I'm gonna go through the engine, re-upholster the seats, paint it, and I bought wheels and tires for it.

67 GMC 6.0 and 4L80e. I cut down a long bed, put it on a 5 lug trailing arm chassis with air bags. I'm gonna add front and rear roll pans and touch up the paint where I welded the bed sides, and leave the rest of the paint alone.

54 GMC. It's on a 94 Bravada chassis with a 5.3, 4L80e adapted to the awd t-case, and I'm going to turbo it. I've got some different wheels for it and I'll paint it matte red. I might put it on air bags too. I'm replacing the rear axle with a t-bird IRS. The only gear ratios shared by the 8.8" and S10 front diff are 3.73 and 3.08. I Found a limited slip, disc brake, 3.08 IRS and had to find a pretty rare 3.08 S10 front diff. I want a good cruise RPM and it'll be turbo-ed so I went with the 3.08s.

53 GMC. I bought it as a 3/4 ton flat bed. I bought a 1/2 ton chassis, bed, and running boards. It's got a GMC 270 which I'll keep, I bought a s10 5 speed to put in it and Jag front and rear suspension to use with the stock 1/2 ton frame.

Are any of those things actually operational?

the 67 GMC, 68 Firebird, 72 Firebird, 89 GTA and my Silverado are all registered and drivable (and a couple cars not pictured).

The 54 and 53 GMCs both run and move but aren't quite road worthy yet. The rest of the cars out back with them are future project cars. I'm just an addict that likes to build cars more than I like to drive them lol. I spent the last year working extra to save up some dough and I'll spend the next year finishing about 4 of them.

I also redid my driveway and extended it all the way to the fence to get rid of the dirt in front of the shop. It looks a lot less trashy now lol. I'm gonna paint the exterior of the house this summer.

My 14' Ram. In the process of removing all chrome. Will do a 3/5 lowering kit in time. Will get new wheels when I need tires, but unsure what I'll be going with.

My 94 K2500 6.5L diesel towing my brother in law's 2013 F250. He always gave me hell about owning a "shitvrolet" until his $50K turd died at the car wash. His humiliation was delicious.

My poor chevy was loaded to the max on that pull. Little over 16K lbs total, including it's own weight and passengers. The 6.5L is not impressive on acceleration, but it can damned sure pull a heck of a load.

They came both turbo and NA in the early years, but 99% of them are turbos. They barely even qualify as a turbo though, since they went with a high compression, low boost design.
