Default 2016 NBA season

Didn't see one of these posted, and being a huge basketball fan, I figured I'd post one! My picks are;

West;
1.Clippers
2.Trailblazers
3.Spurs
4.Warriors
5.Timberwolves
6.Thunder
7.Rockets
8.Jazz

East;
1.Cavaliers
2.Hawks
3.Raptors
4.Hornets
5.Pacers
6.Celtics
7.Pistons
8.Bulls

West coast conference winner; Clippers
East coast conference winner; Hawks

I think the Clippers are taking the W home this year.

Go Pistons. They weren't winning the title this year and neither are your picks.

Warriors v Cavaliers and KD finally gets a ring.

Glad we finally got the nba thread up!!

My warriors are gonna need size up front.. The nba has caught on to there small ball lineup. But i still think there still figuring each out each other..

cavs are the best team in the east, even though i pick the knicks...lol...smh.

I see Golden state vs. San Antonio...in the West finals.

not sure about the east yet... im sure it will be Cavs though.

Yea no way Hawks are going all the way like that. Cavs are going to the Finals again for sure, not so sure about the West but it's definitely going to be a fun season. I can see Spurs going head to head with LBJ. There's too much going on with Golden State to go all the way in their first season with the Frankenstein team.

But I have to stay loyal to my Bulls so we'll see how the East turns out by mid season.

It's going to be a very interesting season. My early rankings

1. Cavs-They have it figured out, playing with tons of confidence and Kyrie should beast out this year.

2. Spurs- They are going to be a tough out and can lock teams down on defense. I'm hoping Timmy comes back after the all-star break for a title run.

3. Warriors- They need to establish some defense. Losing Bogut was huge. This team is easy to score in the paint on, Steph Curry has James Harden like skills on D.

4. Clippers- All the talent is their but they seem to not blend well. They should shop Blake.

5. OKC- The all heart team. they won't win it all but they are fun to watch.

OP, you beat me to creating this thread.

I still think the Cavs are the team to beat. I'm confident it will come down to a Warriors vs. Cavs NBA Finals, but a lot could happen during a long and grueling season.

Boricua, Dwade and butler is a nice 1-2 combo... not too many teams in the east have a solid 1-2 combo.. they should make a nice run.

My sleeper team is the minnesota twolves.... that team is young, and talented.

Exactly, the Bulls got some awesome pick ups. D-Wade still has a few more years of juice, I'll take Rondo any time of the day and to top it off with G-Buckets!!!! I can see the Bulls being a strong 4 seed team.

3 straight years in a row though? Overall I'm not very impressed with the warriors this year, and it pains me to say that. Just no defense, losing Bogut was huge, they have no big man players now. But I was impressed with the hawks last year and like the way they've been playing this year. I doubt they'll go all the way but that's my pick and I'm sticking by it lol. The clippers lost CP3 last year at a horrible time, and if that wouldn't have happened I firmly believe they would have beaten Portland. There's still plenty of basketball to be played so I guess we will see how this season pans out.

Yeah, my warriors are gonna have problems in the paint.. Zaza Pachulia isnt a threat at all. Maybe warriors make some mives late in the season.

Hawks surprisingly are looking good.

The disparity in the NBA is pretty much non-existent. Worst in all sports.

Anthony Davis needs to get out of New Orleans asap. He would be a perfect replacement for Tim Duncan. He's has the makeup of a San Antonio Spur. Really feel bad for the guy.

I felt bad for the guy for a few second, then realized how much money he's making. I no longer feel sorry for him. He still gets to do what he loves and makes a king's ransom doing it.

AD is cool as hell too. No better coach in the NBA than pop too. I could see him being a great fit for the spurs.

The amount of money he makes is irrelevant to me. I like to see great players be great and have success. Too bad he signed that extension last year.
