The red 40 dye is brutal for those like myself who get frequent heartburn

When I was in the construction business we used Gatorade powder and Squirt powder.. Sometimes we use to get treated with the Gatorade ice sickles.. Loved them all.. I'll take Powerade only if there's no Gatorade around..

I don't know if gatorade is any better, but powerade rotted the ever living **** out of my teeth. Junior year of college I drank a lot of powerade. Never had a cavity up to that point in life. Went to my dentist appointment over summer break, and had 4 cavities that needed fixed right away and about 6 spots of concern to watch. I've always brushed at least twice a day, and regularly flossed. My dentist asked what happened or changed and if I started eating lots of hard or sticky candy. I said that I hadn't but did drink a lot of powerade. He was pretty confident that was the culprit.

They all taste the same to me, so I just grab whatever color appeals to me that day.

powder gatorade uses dextrose, liquid gatorade uses fructose. You want dextrose during and after the workout. Powerade has fructose as well.

Ditch the liquids for the powder.

Water or Propel. That's about all I drink, and the ratio is probably about 99.5% water.

LOL at thinking these drinks are healthy.

I lift and don't know a single lifter that drinks either.

They are both just water with sugar in them marketed as "Sports Drinks" because they have "electrolites".

I don't drink sugar and unless you're running a freaking marathon, you don't need to either.

^^ what he said...all those drinks are crap and just cause inflamation in your body. Cancer cells feed off sugar.

Powerade all the way. Gatorade isn't bad in certain flavors but blue and red powerade are my life force. Drink that **** like crazy along with a good amount of water too.

If I'm really getting with it and bubbling up a sweat, I prefer a Banquet, of course I don't do a whole lot and may or may not have an alcohol problem.
