Default 2017 MLB Season

It's that time of the year again. Spring training has started and it's time to make your picks. Will the Cubs repeat? Who's going to be that team that no one picks who ends up making the playoffs? Here are my picks:

American League

East

Baltimore Orioles
Boston Red Sox
Toronto Blue Jays
New York Yankees
Tampa Bay Rays

Central

Cleveland Indians
Kansas City Royals
Chicago White Sox
Detroit Tigers
Minnesota Twins

West

Houston Astros
Texas Rangers
Seattle Mariners
Oakland Athletics
Los Angeles Angels

National League

East

Washington Nationals
New York Mets
Atlanta Braves
Philadelphia Phillies
Miami Marlins

Central

Chicago Cubs
Pittsburgh Pirates
Milwaukee Brewers
St. Louis Cardinals
Cincinnati Reds

West

San Francisco Giants
Colorado Rockies
Arizona Diamondbacks
Los Angeles Dodgers
San Diego Padres

My World Series prediction is:

Houston Astros vs. Chicago Cubs

Not ready to make picks but just curious to your logic of Baltimore winning the AL east? I would have them 3-4, I'm a Yankee fan so there isnt a division I'm more familiar with. Real curious, seems bold to me. Other than that I tend to agree on everything else but I think the Mariners will be more of a force in the AL West.

I think the jury is still out on the Mariners. I think Houston and Texas are both going to have a really strong year. Baltimore is my "wild card" pick. I just have a feeling they are going to put things together this year and surprise a lot of folks.

I'm not ready to make mine either. I just hope the Tigers don't suck like they have the last two years and that the Cubs bandwagon dies.

I hope my Braves don't suck either, but I'm pretty sure they are still a few years away.

I think Chicago is definitely the team to beat coming out of the NL. I agree with that pick for the World series.....barring serious injuries....

I love my Astros this year, but their batting average has to improve in all situations, and their bullpen has ALOT of work to do in my opinion. I am cautiously optimistic.

I like the picks.....I am ready for the season to start!

The problem with the Orioles is that they have great hitters but no pitching. My son is a huge O's fan and i like them too but I am a die hard Mets fan.
