Well for one, that is NOT the stock exhaust system, and it is NOT the stock rear end gear ratio (Z28 had 3.23:1). Good price I guess, the vehicle also has traction control

The tips I can’t say for certain. The gears though, it looks like the put in a typo. FYI Z28’s in automatic came stock with 2.73 and the 3.23 was the option for them, but 3.23 was stock for the SS automatic.

I think this one was posted somewhere else on the site recently as well, it looks familiar to me.

I'm not sure what part of the exhaust you believe isn't stock, but I looked at all the undercarriage photos and that is most definitely a completely stock exhaust system for a 2002 Z28. Everything from the cats, Y-pipe, I-pipe, muffler, tail pipes, tips - even the hangers, insulators and clamps/hardware are correct and original.

I do see where they mention a "3.32" ratio, but I'm sure that's just a typo. The window sticker pictures clearly indicate that this example was ordered with the optional GU5/3.23 gears. However not all Z28s came with 3.23s, that was just an extra cost ($300) "performance axle" option for the automatic cars. The standard ratio for an auto Z28 was actually 2.73 (GU2).

Yes you are correct, my bad, and for the life of me I can not see the stock Y pipe in the exhaust picture.

You have to click on the expanded photo gallery to see a photo showing the entire Y-pipe. The photo you see initially cuts off too far forward to see the entire Y-pipe.

Having only driven the car 400 miles, I can understand the seller's high asking price.......... he didn't get any fun out of owning it! However, GLWTS of a 17 y/o Camaro Z28 w/ an asking price not that far south of a new SS that is WAY faster and handles WAY better.
