Since ChumpCar and World Racing League are endurance races that are either 12hours on Saturday or 7 hours Saturday and 7 hours Sunday what LS would best tolerate this abuse with the least modification. 4.8L or 5.3L or 6.0L or 6.2L and all the variations LS1, LS6,LQ4,L33 and on and on. Low RPM bigger displacement or 4.8L revver?

We also run the Mercedes too and it has a LS motor in it. When it was 1st built, it was an Aluminum block, but that blew up. So the guys put an Iron Truck LS in it. It threw off the Balance & Braking in the car. I won't drive it again!

They all take the same amount of abuse. Just make sure you have a baffled oil pan, an accusump and keep the revs under 6000. It will live a long life.

Our Team did great! The car pictured above Won the race overall (91 cars entered). I drove another car and we finished 2nd in Class.
