With 7.375 I achieved 1 3/4 full turns past 0 preload Torqued to 22 FT LBS...

An LM7 5.3L has a factory dish piston of 8cc and is basically 9.5:1 factory rated.

If you replace that with a Flat top piston you will have nearly 10.5:1 compression.
