The uni lug race stars have a plastic centering ring for the wheel. Put the centering ring on the hub of the wheel then just bolt it up.

agreed with everyone else here...i would check the battery hold down deal. Few of my buddies have had the same problem. When they would launch the car the battery rocks back and hits the shock tower...

You can get away without running longer studs but to be legal per NHRA you need to have long studs. The lug haas to penetrate into the hex portion of the lug nut at least the diameter of the stud.

Take the top radiator hose off of the radiator and fill the motor up through the hose.

Used a sawzall to cut them off my th400 literally took about a minute total to do both sides. Just mark a straight line and cut away!

Like everyone says only thing thats going to happen is a SES light for the cats. Drove mine for 1 1/2 years like this. Never had any issue with it.

Over all its a really easy swap. If you use a long tail th350 you can use your stock driveshaft fyi. Your gonna need to buy a shifter for the 3spd and make a plate to cover up the hole in the trans...

Pretty common on the later ls1 cars...just dremel out the inner part of the wheel. Wont hurt the wheel at all. I had to do this with a set of 17" GTO wheels that i had some drag radials on.

Head gaskets??? I don't think filling the motor up with those left off would hurt anything...i would be looking at a head gasket problem. Try doing a compression and leak down test on those cylinders...

One of my buddies is running his trans temp sender in the return line. He has a 5400 sprague less 8" converter with th400 and 4.71 gear and sees 180ish cruising at 60 and right at 200 after a 1/4...
