Enclosed Coil Rocker Covers for LSX! Abear Motorsports is proud to announce the beginning of our New Year Sale. Thanks to our new manufacturing methods, we can now (for a short time) offer our Enclosed Coil Valve Covers for only $595 plus S&H. That's a $300 savings from our regular price!
In case you're not familiar with us, we currently offer a 2 piece, total replacement for the stock GM valve covers found on your Gen. 3-4 V-8. These covers have additional internal clearance to make room for extra valve lift or a set of aftermarket rocker arms. They establish a leak proof seal via the stock bolts (we provide new grommets) and a stock-style o-ring gasket. The Abear Enclosed Coil Valve Covers also feature a patented Coil Cavity which hides your ignition coils in a stock-like location, and allows the use of factory length spark plug wires.

Have you had any of these out there that have been in constant use in a daily driver?
Reason I'm asking: do you envison any heat soak problems with the coils totally encased in this fashion without any ventilation?
BTW, they are BEEEEEEEEEEutiful!

I honestly don't know how long the sale will last. Not forever though 
We have. Our test vehicle was an Escalade used throughout the spring and summer of last year (still in use now actually). The vehicle was used daily as a commuter, and even towed a boat on the weekends. We had an unusually hot summer last year as well.
We get this question a lot so we will be posting some results from our coil testing in the next week or so. Without going into all the details I can say the coils withstood temperatures in excess of 350 degrees for over 30 minutes without malfunction. If an engine ever sees 350 degrees the coils are the least of your worries...

^ Thost are beautiful... I want them... and for under $600 I would buy them, however I am painting my car this fall and would get them at that time and have them paint matched.
Maybe I can convice you at that time to have a christmas sale
