Flow numbers look good, equal to most "S2" heads on the market. My only question is isn't the intake runner volume extremely large? Aren't most "small motor" heads 210-220? Isn't 235 gonna kill a lot of velocity? Also, how much will they flow on a 3.905" bore, as opposed to a 3.970" bore? Not flaming or bashing, genuinely curious, Shawn

Spanky, that is a very good question that you have. When portingheads you would like to keep the smallest size hole for the cfm that you are looking for. So if you could get a 210cc runner to flow 300 cfm that is what you would like to have. Especially if you are running a small cube engine. The larger cc runners will slow port velocity down but won't kill you that much. Also on a larger cube engine you should not even notice it. I would also bet that some head porters are not telling the whole truth on their runner cc's. They might be larger than they are letting on!
Thanks,
Thanks,

Nice numbers!
Many of the vendors use cc's in the 227-235 range for a LS1 head. It is very common. My heads for example flow 298cfm at .600 lift with a ~228 intake cc.
Most of the S1 numbers I have seen have been in the 280-285cfm range for S1 so those numbers are very good.

A Detroit area shop on the board...nice. You have unlimited opportunity (i'm sure you are busy) as there really is nothing else around, Detroit Speedworks has not been impressive, not sure about Tracy's, and Corvette's Inc. is a 100% JOKE...if they are still even in business.
When will the new site be up?
What is the (head) cost (w/ my core) installed/ do you install ?
How come your shop "could not" install LGM headers & how experienced are you with your ls1 edit tuning ?
