New Trans Mount, New Noise?
I'm getting noises at different levels of the rpm range but probably the worst thing is the exhaust. I'm running LT's into a Corsa Cat-back and it's pretty loud so the car vibrated anyway (expecially with the cam lope) but now it's like I can feel EVERYTHING going on in the engine
Good news is, the thunk is gone and the drivetrain feels incredibly tighter but it is a an annoying compromise.I'm thinking dynamat/jute around the console and seat area (already done the rear) but I'd love to hear opinions/advice as to what may help minimize some of the noise and vibrations. The car is a 2001 SS, See sig for specs on the car.
I hope I helped.

A fix is to put one steel fender washer, with a 3/8ths inch hole I think, between the floor and the crossmember, at each of the 4 bolts that hold the trans brace to the floor. This will lower the trans back to stock height and the noise is basically gone.
A slight vibration is normal, but noise like a helicopter going by is not. The poly mount (when lowered) makes only a little vibration you can feel through your feet, rather than noise. Also I used 4 delrin fender washers instead of fender washers but the idea is the same. Delrin is brand name for a harder and more durable type of nylon. It compresses very little and is a little harder than a polyurethane washer.
