YES it needs to be retuned before you beat on it...

too late right? Well take it easy.

well, damn it, that just means more money. I have logged it and havent seen any kr. I was wondering if I could get ahold of a wideband would this be enough along with watching for k/r to be safe or deffinitely get a retune? Vortech says the stock pulley combo should make 9lbs on stock engine but with the mods I have Should I be seeing more than 6lbs? Im getting a boost guage to see if the #'s are still 6 or higher BTW.

I have the v-9 intercooled kit with a 2.62" pulley making 9 lbs of boost at 5000 ft above sea level. It put down 515 rwhp SAE on a stock LS1 with only a corsa cat-back and ptb. I was loosing boost at one point and replaced my Bosch by pass valve with a better one and boost was restored.

Im a couple hunderd ft above sea level and dont want to go above 8-9lbs but not sure what pulley will get me there. Im getting a boost guage this weekend to see how much Im at right now. And will try to re pulley from there.

The stock 3.12" pulley is supposed to make 8-9 lbs at sea level. My 2.62" pulley actually makes 10 lbs at 5000ft but I have a boost limiter to bleed off the excess, and I get boost much sooner in the lower rpm's.

I also thought about belt slip but havent seen any residue on the pulley so???? Would that 2.75 pulley be what I need? I dont know what size pulley to get. Vortech said they dont have one to fit my blower. All or theirs has a different offset and I could machine some off the back. Can anyone confirm this? I just dont wanna buy a $100 pulley that dosent work.
I got my 2.62" pulley from 928motorsports. I had to by a spacer and shim kit to get it lined up correctly. Reichard Racing also has non-slip pulleys.

stock 99 ls1 cam n springs. I cant justify changing cams on this high mile stocker and having something break and take out a cam thats worth what the entire engine is. I will probably change it to the ls6 or gt2-3 cam when another engine goes in. Hopefully that wont be anytime soon...

lol, meant to ask moddedta, since an na cam wont necessarily be good for boost
