Question 93 v6 camaro with trans am motor, 6spd, rear end?

Hi, I'm looking for a little advice...

I own a sluggish 93 camaro with auto trans v6. Recently i was offered the engine, 6spd, rear end, computer, wire harness, etc from a 95 trans am. I was told that the swap-over would be included in the price.

However...

*I* have to find out if it will fit.

I'm a chick who knows a bit about cars, particularly camaros, I don't even mind getting my hands... arms... elbows dirty on occasion, but I am no expert.

He has the entire car to use for parts if they're needed (it was wrecked in the front) but is there anything else I'll need to make the conversion work?
Is there anything that won't fit? Are there going to be any major complications?

Please help, any advice/help will be gratefully received,
Thank you.

yes, its possible- but ALOT of work. If you have the donor car while you do the swap it will make your life 1000X easier.

dont forget about:
driveshaft
k member
front springs (probably want to replace most suspension parts)
radatior- Reverse flow setup
fuel pump- not compatible with LT1
all linkages for M6 tranny
interior center counsel
pedals
*not sure about 93 v6 front brakes, but from what i understand they are smaller than all other 4th gens- may want to upgrade thoese

im sure i forgot alot of things- I wanted to do this at one time so I am pretty knowledgeble about the topic
let me know if you need any help

Dont forget- Driveshafts are the same other than weight. The front springs is more of a performance issue, but I would definitly upgrade ur shocks and springs to go with the newly found power. It will make driving the car much more enjoyable and safer -The v6 brakes are smaller. So your best bet is to pickup a whole front end off an LT1. OTher than that, hes pretty much got it.
I kept my v6 fuel setup with my LS1 and I keep dead even with my friend who has a 99 ls1 formula - But if ur a 3.4 I would lookin to a new pump. Your biggest challenge is taking the time =) It took me a realistic 7 days to get my car done. ( It took 3 months due to bad planning ) but only about 7 days of work went into it. I did an auto to auto swap - Id figure doing the pedals would be one of the only real pains. Other than that its all fairly strait forward. Your gonna need someone else to help you and take the time to research to make sure there arent any small snags - they are the worst.

For a final refernce that isnt here - there are many friendly people on www.Camarov6.com that have done many swaps , I saw a good amount of LT1 swap info while looking for ls1 swap info threw that site. If you look around there and use the search you will probly find what you need. =)

Driveshafts are diffrent length b/w auto/manual trannys

and i suggested new front springs because of the increased weight on the front end with the addition of a v-8 engine

Also new engine mounts will need to be welded onto the frame.

I've heard & read that drive shafts splines and lengths are the same from 82~02, only the diameter (and metal used) has changed. The early 4th gen V6 driveshafts are 2 piece but will accept a newer aluminum driveshaft.

Front brakes are them same between V6 & V8 4th gens. The only difference is 93~97 and 98~02.
