Year: 1999 Make: Chevrolet Model: Camaro Price: $8800 Mileage: 81000 Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing Location (State): MA Color: Blue Transmission: Manual Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
The time has come for me to part ways with my Camaro. Believed to be 1 of 87 built in the hardtop/ls1/m6 combo. The car is in pretty nice shape overall considering age and mileage. Car runs and drives awesome, really was just a sunday toy for me and nothing more. I've maybe put 1000-1200 miles on it since I've owned it. The car does have a few flaws body wise up close but from a distance looks killer all shined up and clean. I'll list up the goods, bads, and mods and try to be descriptive as possible.
mods:
SLP lid and flow pac
ls6 intake
Ported Throttlebody
ARH 1 7/8 longtubes
off road y pipe
magnaflow catback
MSD wires
NGK tr55's
EGR and AIR delete
Tuned
WS6 short throw shifter
Was told by previous owner that it has a centerforce clutch in it, can't 100% confirm this but the peddle is heavier/stiffer than stock and grabs closer to the floor than higher up like stock.
Black berger panel
Goods:
tires have about 5000 miles on them
new pads and rotors up front
oil and filter done 1000 miles ago with mobil1 synthetic
no fluid leaks
no piston slap
drives nice and tight
no dash cracks and no door cracks
bads:
passenger window motor starting to slow down
radio has a loose connection in dash, will lose power sometimes over bumps.
very top edge of front bumper cover has peeling clear coat.
typical sail panel bubbles
one wheel has a rash in it
rear bumper cover has a couple of small scratches in it
drivers rear quarter has a small crease type dent in it(hardly noticeable but there) from a door
bottom of drivers door has a chip in it
wing has some small bubbles in it towards outer edges.
I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere at anytime. Not desperate to sell, just looking to move on and make room in my garage. Not interested in any trades. Thanks for looking and PM with any questions.
Free bump for a cool color....I have never seen (nor really heard of... I actually had to verify it was an option to convince myself) this MBM color in person but as there seems be to quite a few posts about cars with this color recently I did a little research and got to say I am a fan.
Nice looking car and HT have a pretty good following so it should sell pretty quickly as it is actually reasonably priced.

Not to interrupt your thread but just to provide clarity to any potential buyers you may want to confirm the color option (There was no Medium Blue Metallic offered for Camaros based on the datafiles I have reviewed). My guess would be just based on looking that this would be Bright Blue Metallic BBM which would be an RPO Code (20U) which can be found on your drivers side door if you would like to confirm.
Based on JohnnyWS6 breakout it looks like you were correct with the 1/87 BBM M6 cars with a total production of 238+17 = 255 BBM LS1 Camaros built. (i.e. There were 861 BBM V6 Camaros)
Note: Not sure as this value added information. I will also offer that I cross referenced with the Firebird production data and the 1999 color for Firebirds was Medium Golf Blue Metallic which ironically enough is a 20U RPO Code as well. My personal guess was that these were the same colors just provided to different names for some odd reason.

No worries, yes..technically the color is called Bright blue metallic on the camaro's. Not sure why I listed it as medium blue in the heading of the ad? I was tired! Lol! I corrected it and it was listed with 2 different color names even though the RPO code is 20u for the color. Just depended if it was a firebird or Camaro.
Delivered 9 Mar 2017!!! I've been looking for this specific car FOR YEARS! One of the smoothest transactions ever and it fits in well with the rest of the collection! Thanks Matt!
