New Hooker Fox Body Mustang LS Swap System Preview Thread

There are 5 different transmission-specific crossover tubes available now that connect the manifolds together on the back side of the engine. I did prototype a bracket to mount the turbo to the engine, and also a flanged pipe to connect the turbo to the passenger side manifold outlet...both of those will eventually get released as products as well, but I don't know when.

I don't do mock-ups with any oil pans other those offered by Holley or Weiand, so I can't conclusively answer your question regarding the F-body pan.The 4L80 fits great using the Hooker engine brackets and transmission crossmember. The turbo was configured to be mounted on the driver side in our mock-up to permit mounting it to the engine and also to allow A/C operability.

I'm glad to have you on board with the thread and interested in the headers BROWNEYE2.0. If you are wanting to use them with engine mounts other than the coming Hooker mounts, I would caution you against do so as it's unlikely you will end up with acceptable fitment.

I'm in the middle of mocking-up an LS/TKO install on a Maximum Motorsports 5.0 K-member for the Holley employee who loaned us his car to develop both the Hooker LS and Coyote swap systems for Fox Bodies and thought some of you who like the Maximum Motorsports K-member might want to a few pics of the set-up.
The Hooker engine brackets seen in the photos are the same as for the stock K-member (dual hole pattern in the bracket base plates make this possible). You can also make out the new and coming Holley 302-3 oil pan and the Hooker transmission crossmember supporting the TKO 600 transmission.
This floor will have to be clearanced slightly to fit the TKO as is needed when installing one of those transmissions behind a SB Ford in a Fox Body...or you can buy one of the special low-profile TKO's that are available and they would probably be a bolt-in affair as the extra clearance needed isn't much.

Here's the addition of the headers (orange paint indicates master sample) onto the mock-up with the Maximum Motorsports K-member. Notice the headers clear the K-member stiffener bar supplied by MM with their K-members...that's a nice little extra feature I thi

I finished clearancing the tunnel to clear the top of the TKO transmission and can report that it can be done without having to do any cutting or welding. I used a good air hammer it only took me about 10 minutes to massage the floor into the shape it needed to be in. I don't think you'd need to do any clearancing if you used one of the low-profile TKO's on the market. Here's a pick of the Maximum Motorsports steering shaft I mocked-up in the car...fits great.
