The sound material on the bottom and floor of the car is HUGE weight.. If you can scrape that off its > 100 lbs.. The factory seats are evidentially made of lead ..
Factory wiring harness is way heavier than you'd imagine as well,, I can't find the notebook right now but I helped do a 100% tub stripped road race car and we took almost 900 off the car. Liquid nitrogen stripped the entire tub on a rotisserie, soda blasted, then used a air trimmer to skim all the excess off the seams. We threw every thing we stripped off the car in a box and weighed it.. Everything we put back on is composite (Hood, rear hatch, bumpers, flair kit) Plastic instead of glass, gutted doors, AL trailing arms in the rear, CrM 8 point cage, Kirkey road seat, and too much other stuff to remember.. The car sits at like 2300 no driver 12 gallons of fuel. I'll be adding a lot of floor ballast to make weight..

Mine was doing the same thing last year. N20 60' times were the same or within a few 100th's of NA 60' times. My issue (not apparent at the time) was the cheap CE three way rear shocks were no longer capable of keeping the tires planted. I upgraded to Strange double adjustables and now have a new best of 1.33 on nitrous. I had a 1.37 this weekend at LS Fest which also rewarded me with my first 9 second pass. Last year my 60's were in the mid 1.4's. Just a thought.

Pretty excited. Got my 275/60 Mt pros yesterday and mounted to my spare wheels.
My lexan scoop will be here today. Going to put that on with my stock hood before I decide if I need to chop up the cowl hood.
So, the carb is currently touching the hood with the front vent tube, so that may be a decent gain with the scoop. Full tenth potentially. But, car was crushing the 26x10 ET drags, so, assuming the 28" tall Mt DOT pro 275s don't hurt the 60 foot more than harm it, the car may be a different animal on motor and gas.
Tomorrow should be fun.

I went with the DA Vikings in back and DA struts up front, car became more consistent in the 60' I go about mid 130's off an idle.
lower control arm was a big factor in angles. Just make sure your bar is parallel or going upwards slightly from the rear to the front mounting point.
remember lifting the front end of your car just 1" will play a big role in I/C also. one of the reasons I run a 27" tall front tire.
Speed tiger will tell you if you can hook at our 1/8th mile track, you can hook anywhere at all. I think they started the catch phrase "No prep"
I like the taller tire as it helps in roll out and taking some Cush on the hit. I run a 28X9 Pro Bracket Radial, love it. The 275 pro's are awesome also. I just like the smaller tire for my sleeper.

Yes sir, you and I are on the same page. Should hook like a different animal, but I need new rear shocks or have my QA1s rebuilt.
If I didn't have a damn gun addiction I would be good to go. Bought 4 or 5 in the last month?

5.3 should be in mine as a temporary fill in for my 6.0 that will be going back in soon.i broke some rod bolts on the iron 6.2 after it went a best of 6.05. So, now the 6.0 goes back in, going to bump compression, heads being worked over some new cam....arp rod bolts. But the substitute motor is a 5.3, bored to a 3.90 bore, 13.97 compression with 799 heads and Ed Curtis custom stick. My converter isn't right for it, but we are hoping it goes at least 6.50s. Oh, its gonna be run on Methanol with a super vic.
