getting a 08 Vette LS2/LS3 oil pan 12598186 and looking for the windage tray to fit it. It looks like a full length pan which would be the same as my 5.3 truck tray. But I wanted to
confirm. It shows up as a windage tray 12558850 but don’t have much luck finding replacements. Does anyone know if the stock truck windage tray will work with the Vette wet sump pan (not the batwing)??
So apparently the part numbers have been upgraded.
The 12598186 pan should use the new part number windage tray (was 12558750) to the 12558189 which is about $30 on summit shipped. I looked up the tray for a 2003 5.3 truck and it showed a new part number of 12611129 which I have attached a pic of. They look very similar minus the large hole at the back upper right (oil filter side) and the small opening the 2nd mounting hole from the right/top.
Thinking i Should just get the new tray and hope it works.
