Default Paging anyone running TEA heads

How do you like them? What size valves are in them?
Are the double valved springed? With these heads, was it a noticable upgrade? Are you happy with them..

TEA Stage 1's heads here.. I went from 3.42's at 390rwhp to 421rwhp with 4.10's and still on old tuning. I have stock valves.. My current bolt ons consist of MTI pulley, ported tb by Brandon Aders, LS1 Motorsports lid, Futral Motorsports Cam, Flow Tech cutouts, Ed Wright programming and Mac headers w/3 inch OR y-pipe. No dyno tricks here. Last dyno with 315's with 30 psi. Oh, did I mention Stock Valves. I think if I went to long tubes and rec'd a dyno tune I would see more horsepower, but who cares at this point.

<img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> TEA 5.3 1.5's here. 2.02/1.55's. CC987's. Picked up 25.1 rwhp/21.1 rwtq over the SII heads that were on it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> That would qualify as a noticable gain <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Motor made 416.9rwhp/405.2rwtq with a T1 and obligatory bolt on's through a Moser 12 bolt w/slicks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Absolutely sold on TEA's work, and customer service is 2nd to none <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Brian and Brent will be handleing all my future cylinder head needs. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I have the TEA stage 2 heads and am VERY pleased. With H&C on a 346cid shortblock + 100 shot it went 10.68 @ 134.2. I have not got the car dialed in just right all motor but I am very close. 11.31 @ 124.6 all motor and the car was soft on the bottom of the shifts for some reason. You can't go wrong.

<img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> TEA's heads rock. I've got a set of the 5.3L Stage II's on my 99 C5, and they kick butt. I love them. I visited TEA on several occasions while my heads were being prepped, and the guys there are top-notch. You can't go wrong.

The power increase with the heads was really noticeable, and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Good luck!
