Absolute Speed has been bought, and Jay is doing the heads. I was told two weeks tops Seems a bit fishy to me. Anyone have any info on this. I will release the persons name and "handle" after I get some feedback from you guys. He said Jay is working for him now.

I'm aware, that's why I posted. It seemed VERY strange that Jay could work on a new set of heads and get them out in less than 2 weeks while others are still waiting.

There are several ways to buy a company.
1) Entity purchase. You buy the entity including its liabilities and lawsuits, as well as the "good will".
2) asset purchase...you buy the assets and do not buy the company structure. This is common because you don't assume the companies liabilities.
Now that the legal stuff is out of the way, no one in his right mind would buy Jay's company or the assets without planning on making good on what he owes. In fact a good way to purchase that company is simply to assume the liabilities and give Jay a hourly wage and run it better.
Couldn't see sinking real money in a failed business myself.
