Default did some fiddling around with trying to smooth out idle...

ok well hell i didnt know the vcm controls lets you change spark, that helped out, 21 deg of timing sucked, 23 deg of timing sucked, 22 deg of timing seemed to work a lot better than the other 2.

i decreased the overspeed correction and i think that was not good. when i disabled it wiht the vcm controls the rpms got real bad, with a litlte timing correction it got better, but i think im gonna go a half a degree up on the overspeed correction from where i was, started out at 0 and went up by halfs to ~125 rpm or so

i have messed with the adaptive idle response time and it seems that it works well. i have it at 1 sec instead of 1.5 sec now and it seems to be ok, i may try to lower it next tune and note the changes.

i put the car into open loop when it was warm and it seems the inconsistancy in the idle went away somewhat. the cool o2 sensors, that also had no trim learn time, were moving the fuel too much to my liking, but it seems as the car warms it gets better. example:

start up entering closed loop with the o2s not having enough time to heat up
average rpm (set at 850) 850 point something, it was right at it though
the swing from high to low was 121 rpms though

from a cold start, giving the o2s time to heat my results were as follows:
average rpm 850 (set for 850 as well)
the swing from high to low rpm this time was only 80 rpm, a LOT better. for me the stock swing was about 60 or so so wiht a cam i am happy to have it that close. looks like the fueling is the bitch in what i have been chasing. so i will make sure the o2s are hot next time i start to mess with it.

i just figured i would post up what i did and what happened, might help you all , might not, but this is a site for info so im gonna give my info lol

Are you holding the iac position constant too? If not, how much is it swinging?
